Old Palace Chester

North West

Old Palace Chester was originally built as a residence for Samuel Peploe, Bishop of Chester, in 1751. It is one of the earliest Georgian buildings in Chester in a location that enjoys a high degree of privacy and lovely views across The Groves and River Dee. Old Palace Chester has undergone a meticulous restoration and renovation process in recent years to honour its rich heritage and bring it back to its former glory. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the intricate plasterwork to the elegant furnishings, to ensure that the essence of the original building is preserved. The restoration project has been a labour of love, combining the expertise of skilled artisans and designers who have breathed new life into this historic gem.
