The Wylding – Forest Florists
The Wylding is a premium floral design studio working between London and an ancient woodland in Kent. We work across weddings, private events, corporate installations and sustainable farewell flowers. Our aesthetic is wild and unruly, but never careless. We follow botanical logic: tall things reach, heavy things droop, stems lean toward light. We favour movement and negative space over stiffness and symmetry. We call ourselves forest florists because most of our materials are grown, gathered and foraged from a family-owned woodland — mosses, bark, seedheads, fruiting branches, blossom and the occasional “volunteer plant.” This gives our work two defining qualities: sustainability and rarity. We are foam-free, seasonal and circular in our thinking, and we can bring ingredients into a space that are difficult to source commercially. Founded by two storytellers with backgrounds in branding and documentary, The Wylding approaches floristry as narrative design. From woodland to workplace, wedding or window, our installations are immersive and atmospheric — as if the outside has quietly crept in.
